Amazing as always. Liked that you went to some new extremes - played with the bits more. Also your scene coloring and composition is incredible. Looking forward to many more!

Hey man I followed you after this cartoon, so we better be seeing more from you.

Your expressions and timing take moments that would probably get crickets if other folks (like myself) animated them and make them solid 5/5 laughs. Also, love that even with limited time, you played with numerous perspectives and pulled off some pretty fluid animation.
Great work!

This is perfect.

You've got a weird sense of humor, and it's great.

Simple but smooth animation and really effective scene composition. Love your backgrounds, efficient - detailed where they need to be. Great color palette too.

Solid voice work (especially your own with the king) - would encourage them to be a little more emphatic, "cartoony" even.

Hope you make more like this!

Great to see this on the front page and hope you keep making web animations.

Love that your colors and style were"grim" (like the reaper) but light like those classic Merry Melodies in expression, music, voices and sfx. Enjoyed the influence from those old cartoons.
Creative story too with the "devil wins by giving you what you most desire" turn at the end.

If you make more animations for Newgrounds, I'd recommend cutting the intro (I think this one ran until 20-25 seconds)? I'm thinking I need to keep my titles to under 10 seconds or even shorter to keep viewers - not a lot of attention span out there on the internet these days.

Great work and thanks for sharing!

Your animation is fluid, and your effects (everything - the fire, lightning, water) are so vivid and beautiful.
Alone, awesome, but you integrated it all so well, including the environment (really sweet "painted" backgrounds) to make it incredible. Also major kudos for mastering your "camera" - the constant motion and varied perspectives made it so cinematic.

What also made it feel even more cinematic was your mastery of your sound. Really well mixed and married to your animation. The tone of the visuals and audio were just so in sync...

...damn dude. Awesome work.

PBot's gonna be so proud of me for already having my best movie of the month picked out.

You, my friend, are still very talented I see.

Squeakytoad? What what whaaaaat?

Got to write a serious review.

Bravo. Your use of lighting splendidly set the tone. Your grasp of composure is remarkable. Your signature gritty shading works well with this genre.
Your art, for the most part, was immaculate as usual.
Perspective seemed a little off at times. Not too shabby though. Some of your shots are perfect.
As for the animation, I'm a huge fan of your life-like frame-by-frame, but I felt with this piece I was watching too many symbols just tween around.

Fantastic script. Don't apologize for relying on the cliches, man, that was what made the humor so perfect. It was all quite appropriate. Campy, yet suave.
The level of 'cool' emanating from this piece is off the charts.
You always make the most epic stuff. I get shivers of awesome as I watch your movies.

Keep it up. Great, great work.

Thanks for the review, man. Always nice to hear some critical feedback.

I agree with your assessment that there were too many tweens as opposed to straight fbf. With a full-time job and Clock Day deadlines I didn't have a ton of time, sadly. But I'm glad to hear you liked it/ my movies in general. Thanks again.
