For how incredibly funny the first Snowy was...

This didn't inspire too many laughs.
Of course I found it amusing, and grinned at several parts, but I just didn't find it all that funny.
I mean, you did an incredible job parodying everything and putting this together, but a few more jokes might help.
But still, pretty good.
Merry Christmas.
And have a great New Year.

That was incredible.

Congrats.
You truly displayed the reason for the season.
It's awesome to see this stuff on Newgrounds.
You're really up there on my respected animators list even more now, man.
Everything about this was superb and moving.

Oh brilliant.

This made me burst with delight. Seriously.
Wow. Brilliant.
This a new trend now is it? I gotta do this if the SS ever decides to parody a series of mine.
Man, I'm still loving this. Especially since I contributed to the mass amount of TooF mockeries (another account).

Gotta also add that the Pheonix Wrong series is starting to grow on me. Despite finding it lacking at first, I've begun grinning and even laughing out loud once as I watch through them.
Keep it up.

AshfordPride responds:

I'm glad you could appreciate the simplicity of it all. I think the reason it's so popular is because people who are generally new at flash can easily produce a good quality flash using the Phoenix Wrong formula.

Thanks for the review. :)

It was clean and polished animation. I enjoyed it.
A short and simple cartoon, and a good one.

RWappin responds:

Thanks, toady man!

You guys did great. It was excellent.
One of those nice little things you watch during your break.
Excellently parodied Mario.
Usually, I'm very much against the usage of sprites in flash movies. However, in this case, it wasn't just some animators wanting to get out of having to do real work- it was part of the whole effect.
Great job.

CIA responds:

ahha thanks. This means good coming from someone as good as you.

I like. I like way much.

Of all your shorts, this is definitely one of the best.
I love how you implemented tons of classic cartoon techniques.
And the ending was one of those rare moments where I found something so oddly funny that I laughed out loud at my computer screen.
Great work.

Wonchop responds:

heehee

This is good stuff.

It really is.
Not the smoothest or shiniest stuff around, but a great balance of nice art, animation, and effects.
You always bring something to the table that's not exactly fresh, but tastes good anyways.
Great work, Luis.

And somehow I knew you'd wait til the day after Halloween (when all the other top animators would most likely be submitting theirs) to get yours in.
Nothing wrong with that though. I'd probably rather have a Daily Feature than Third or Fourth as well.

You've got potential.

You've certainly got potential. You can make a nice-looking landscape and your still art is above average.
However, throughout the movie you take the cheap way out in a lot of areas, making your drawings look mediocre. I would recommend spending more time on them.
However, your area that needs most improvement. The animation was incredibly glitchy. Each movement nearly made me wince. I can tell from some parts of the movie that you can do better. I think, once again, you just need to spend more time and practice harder.
Your voices are also lacking. Just extend an invitation to voice actors to take part. In fact, I'd gladly extend my services.
I'm sorry to have to give you a '3', but I really feel that's all this deserves. While it may be impressive in some areas, it's lacking so much in others that it makes it almost unbearable to watch.
Work on the animation, fix the glitchiness and areas with hasty art, and get better voices. After which I think your movies will improve a world in quality.
If you had a tight deadline, I can understand. I myself have had to deal with short time periods. However, don't try to complete someting of this massive proportions in short time periods. Settle for a simpler art style, and a simpler animation type.
I hope to see more from you in the future. You've got great potential.
And I hope this review helps.

Kahze responds:

Yup definetley gotta throw in more inbetweens. Thanks for watchin!

Brilliant.

I absolutely loved it.
Everything from the cardboard ninja, the stalking water cooler, and countless moments that had me off my chair.
After I saw this I went and read every comic. I am now a fan.
I love this stuff.

Hey, guys.

Great to see you finally pulled through and finished it.
You haven't been getting many tens in the reviews, so here's mine.
I think you guys need to get a little more in gear next time you do a collab, though. Get more done in that large a time.
Great job, people. Keep improving.
